Joan Anna Hoffman

Joan A. Hoffman, 81, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021, while under the care of Buckeye Hospice at the Beckett House of New Concord.

Joan was born in Byesville on September 30, 1940. She is the daughter of the late John and Ilo Virginia (Lauer) Henry. Joan was known for her green thumb, and loved to tend her garden and take care of her flowers. She was an amazing cook, and loved to spend time with her family around the dinner table. Joan loved going to car shows and spending time at them with her husband and their friends.

Joan is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Gary Gene Hoffman; her children, Vernita (Leonard) Graham, Greg (Cindy) Hoffman, Chris Heddleson, Kenny (Crystal) Hoffman, Gary (Tina) Hoffman; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, a private family service will be held. She will be laid to rest in East Union Cemetery in Claysville. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Hoffman family.
