Jessie S. Licon

Jessie S. Licon, 37 of Cambridge, formerly of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 24, 2023, at her home.

Jessie was born on January 2, 1986 in Riverside, California. She is the daughter of the late Tommy Gassaway and Paula Day. Jessie loved the time she spent with her children, they were her world. She also loved partaking in any arts and crafts activity. She was a dedicated and hard worker who will be missed.

In addition to her mother, Jessie is survived by her two sons, Daniel Licon and Dylan Licon; her brother, Shane (Areial) Gassaway; her nephew and nieces, Gaige Gassaway, Breahnna Gassaway, Anya Gassaway; her paternal grandmother, Carol Smith; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jessie is preceded in death by her father, as well as her paternal great-grandmother, Jesse Roberts.

A memorial service for Jessie will be announced at a later date.
