Jessica M. Miller

Jessica M. Miller, 32 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, with her mother by her side.

Jessica was born on April 12, 1992, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of Ron Hanning and Teresa M. (White) Gheen. Jessica was a passionate reader with a love for mysteries and true crime books. She found joy in coloring and listening to music as well. Jessica and her mother shared an unbreakable bond, always caring for one another and standing side by side. Her love, kindness, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

In addition to her mother and father, Jessica is survived by her two brothers, John (Sky) Edward Miller III and Roy Gheen; her several nieces and nephews; her aunt and uncle, Loretta (Joe) Roberts; her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Becky Hoskinson; her best friend, Sam Hancock, who was like a brother to her; as well as her cat, Garfield.

Jessica is preceded in death by her step-brother, Ronald “Casper” Hanning; as well as her maternal grandparents, Samuel and Vera White.

In keeping with Jessica’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place.
