Jeffrey Careins

Jeffrey Careins, 67 of Coshocton, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2022 at Coshocton Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.

Jeff was born in Zanesville on September 11, 1955.  He is the son of the late Opal (Cornell) Careins Hiles and Zail Careins.  He retired in 2018 from Nikko’s Services in Zanesville and Coshocton.

Jeff is survived by his three children, Mary Beth (Terry) Moore, Troy Careins and Autumn Burtnatt; his grandchildren, Abbie George, Michael Careins, Kristiana Pitts, Patty Moore, Hannah Moore, Ivy Moore, Brayden Careins, Zavery Careins, and Sophie Careins; his step-grandchildren, Anthony and Alexis Cavalear, and  Madison Moore; his three great grandchildren, Katheryn Bird, Sawyer Wheeler, and Malakai George; his sister, Cheryl (David “Slug”) Cosgrave; his brother, David Careins; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and Betty Careins.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his step-son, Robert Cavalear; his brother, Zail Careins Jr. and his sister, Debbie Russell.

Visitations will be 1 to 3 pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral Services will be held following visitations at 3 pm.  Pastor Jim Childers will officiate the service.
