Jean C. Stansberry

Jean C. Stansberry, 87 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022, while at the Oaks of Bethesda. Jean was born in Zanesville, on February 5, 1934. She is the daughter of the late Harry David Woods and Nettie Baker Staffey.  She was the previous owner of Beach Road Bait Shop in Burr Oak.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time outside and fishing. Jean is survived by her son, Steven L. Stansberry; her granddaughter, Christina Stansberry McMasters; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kayleb, Everett, and Le’Andre; a great-great grandson, Braxton; and her brother, Richard Woods. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Stansberry who passed away March 28, 2001; her infant daughter, Debra; her sisters, Rose Heightshoe and Evelyn Smith. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Stansberry family.
