Jean L. Dickley

Jean L. Dickley, 65,  of Worthington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at 10:05 pm on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.  She was born on August 27, 1949 in Conneaut, OH; the daughter of the late Harold L. and Paulette Alice Dickley.

She retired in 1998 from Merck Medco in Columbus after 20 years; she was an active member of the Vineyard of Columbus Church which she was an active volunteer and choir participant.  She belonged to the Ladies Prayer & Study group, the Women’s Circle for Church Ministries where she was involved with the prayer group;  she was involved with the 17th Avenue Prayer Group and was a member of the  Job’s Daughter’s.  She was a dedicated advocate for cat welfare.

Jean is survived by her sisters, Joyce (Dominick) Brienzi of Columbus, and Jerry L. (Thomas) Keys, her nieces and nephews Corey G. Brady & his fiancée Natalie Brown, Thomas Hall, Jeremiah Hall, Dominick Brienzi III and Maranda Brienzi; her great niece, Arya Rain Brady and one on the way ‘new Baby Brady’, Ida, Cheyenne, Blane and Kiara Hall; as well as her beloved feline, Bobby Cat and her extended family Gloria Puchovich.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her sisters Linda J. (Kowalski) Dickley and Joyce Dickley, her grandmother, Ruth Jerald, her grandfather, Jalo Dickley, and all her loving pets.

A caring cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private service for Jean at a later date.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls has been entrusted with caring for the Dickley family.
