IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janie M.
Starcher
April 15, 1956 – March 18, 2026
Janie Starcher, born April 15, 1956, in Zanesville, Ohio, passed away on March 18, 2026. She made her home in Roseville, Ohio, and will be remembered with love by those who knew her and cherished the many ways she brought joy to her family.
Janie found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially reading, baking, visiting Amish Country, spending time with her sisters, and collecting teapots, Precious Moments, and anything Native American with her husband. She also worked at Nursing Homes in Muskingum County. These interests reflected the warmth and care that were part of her life, and they remain a meaningful part of the memories her family will hold close.
She is survived by her parents, Katherine and James Lee Paul; her sisters and brothers. Her in-laws Jack and Betty Drake and their Children; her perfect “ornery boys,” Ray, Mike (Tracy), and Buddy (Tabitha) Starcher; her grandchildren, Diamond, Suede, Koltin, Austin, Tomi, and Buddy Starcher; her great-grandchild, Joshlynn; and her special friend, Crystal Linscott.
Janie was running into heaven to the arms of her husband of 50 years, W. Ray Starcher. Her family will carry forward the love they shared with her and the lasting imprint she left on their lives.
In honoring Janie’s wishes, the family will be cremating, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. A time and location will be announced at a later date.
