Janice Marie Fye

Janice Marie Fye, 87 formerly of South Zanesville and Kensington Village, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family at Cedar Hill Care Center on June 19, 2018.

Janice was born in Zanesville on August 8, 1930.  She is the daughter of the late Bliss E. and Hattie D. Gray.  She was a lifelong member of the Market Street Baptist Church and its Church Circle.

Janice is survived by her daughter Beverly (Steve) Dunn of Zanesville and her son, Michael (Barry Canan) Fye of Dublin; her five grandchildren, Joey Dunn, Derek (Karissa) Dunn and Natalie Dunn, MacKenzie Canan and Morgan Canan; her great grandchildren, Ava Jo Dunn and Rhyder Smith; her sister in law Melodie Munyan of Zanesville, her special niece, Tammy Vinsel and her nephews, Tim and Tom Arnold and Rick Goldsmith.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence ‘Cider’ Fye who passed away on June 22, 2015, and her daughter, Connie Jo Fye Rothe, who passed away in 1988; her sister, Anna Gene Arnold and her aunt, Helen Leibrock.

The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Hill Care Center for their loving care and her special friend, Donna Norris.

Visitations will be from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 11 am Friday.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Greenwood Cemetery.
