Jane L. Preslicka

Jane Lou Preslicka, formerly of Cumberland, Ohio, passed away at her home in Zephyrhills, Florida.

She was a graduate of Licking Heights High School. She graduated with honors at Muskingum Area Technical College. She retired from DFAS in Columbus and H&R Block.

She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed acrylic, watercolor, and pastel painting. She also loved flowers, reading, traveling, listening to Elvis, and antiquing.

She leaves behind her sister Peggy (Jordan) Schremp and her husband John; long-time friend Linda McNally; nephew Ryan; children James, Bettina, and Chanda; almost daughter Bridget; granddaughter Amber Preslicka; great-grandson Alaric (Little Jimmy); grandson Ernesto Preslicka; and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jane was preceded in death by her mother Beda Ackerman.

A visitation will be held at Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 18. A funeral service will follow Friday July 19 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Jane will be laid to rest in Cumberland Cemetery.
