James Logan Mitchell
October 18, 1930 — January 27, 2017
James Logan Mitchell, 86 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017.
Jim was born in October 18, 1930 in Duncan Falls. He is the son of the late Logan C. and Sophia (Wilkins) Mitchell. He worked for over 20 years with the Ohio Ferro Alloy and he also owned Mitchells’ Woodcrafts for 30 years.
Jim is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary (Tucker) Mitchell; his three daughters Rosalind Mitchell, Dianna (Andrew) LeVeck and Valli Kirkbride; a sister Betty Maxwell; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special friend Gary (Petra) Elson and his “best buddy” JoJo.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his sister Lucille Bennett and his brother Bruce Mitchell.

In keeping with Jim’s request, a caring cremation will occur and no services will be held. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Mitchell family.
