James C. Dilley

James C. Dilley, 72 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Jim was born in Marietta, Ohio on December 25, 1945.  He is the son of the late Charles H. and Gladys M. (Hines) Dilley.  He previously worked for the Ohio Ferro Alloy and then for Jay Ardrey Construction for 26 years.  He enjoyed woodworking and genealogy. He served his country in the US Army.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patty K. (Nelson) Dilley, whom he married on February 10, 1966; his three children, J. Douglas (Tammy Davis) Dilley, Melissa (Jeff) Miller and Steven (Kelly Kirkbride) Dilley; 13 Grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Nancy Eakin, Jessie (Louie) Smith, Pat Jones, Selena Dilley and David (Louise) Dilley and his beloved dog, Matty.

Visitations will be 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, with Pastor Karen Osborn officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the US Army Color Guard, the George Selsam VFW Post #1058, and the American Legion Post #29.
