Hugh D. Bunting

Hugh D. Bunting, 73 of McConnelsville, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family at 5:30 pm, July 1, 2014. Hugh was born May 22, 1941 in Calais, OH the son of the late Hobart Austin and Bessie Olive (Brownfield) Bunting. He is a retired owner and operator truck driver; an avid nascar and truck and motorcycle racing fan. Hugh is survived by his daughters Carla (Richard) Ellis of Delaware, OH; Teresa Bunting (Terry Killen) of Sunbury and Dawn Counts of Delaware; his step children Jamie Berlin of Cleveland and Jason Bunting of New Comerstown; his grandchildren Deanna, Bethany, Autumn and Nicholas; his step grandchildren Steven, Julia and Jeremy; his two great grandchildren Zavier and Gianna and his sister Sheila (Jeff) Darrah of Avondale. In addition to his parents, Hugh is preceded in death by his wife Mamie Bunting; his brothers Sam, Bobby, Hollie and Jackie Bunting and his sisters Barbara Cooper and Gloria Jean Bunting. Visitations will be 2 to 6 pm Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 6 pm with Randy Ferguson officiating. He will be laid to rest at a later date with private family service in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. www.farusfh.com
