Howard E. Martin

Howard E. Martin, 63 passed away on August 2, 2024 at North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

Howard was born in Zanesville on March 1, 1961.  He is the son of Ivan Martin of Chandlersville and the late Rita (Campbell) Martin who passed away July 24, 2020.  He previously worked for Toledo Scale in Georgia and he enjoyed fishing.

Howard is survived by his father, Ivan Martin; his siblings, Don (Sue) Martin, Mary (Tom) Rutledge, Kathy (Charles) LePage, Connie (Jeff) May, Bonnie Johnson, Mable Martin, Rachel (Tim) Honkus, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well many friends.

Howard is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Martin; his brother, Ivan Martin Jr., sister, Dianna Doyle, nieces, Melissa Hardy and Regina Hardy; and nephews, Brian Martin, Michael McCabe, and Justin Ore.

Visitations will be 12 to 1 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.  Funeral services will follow visitations at 1 pm.  Pastor Keith Taylor will officiate services.  He will be laid to rest beside his mother in the Chandlersville Cemetery.
