Hiram Engle

Hiram Engle, 77 of Zanesville, passed away at his Zanesville residence on September 25, 2017.
Hiram was born in Zanesville on August 7, 1940. He is the son of the late Edward Obed Engle and Beulah (Viola) Bishop. He previously worked for the Longaberger company for 27 years and then for Muskingum Auto Parts. He was a member of the Zanesville Eagles FOE # 302 and the Zanesville Moose Lodge.
Hiram is survived by his wife Nellie K. Engle, whom he married March 22, 1956. He is survived by his children, Hiram Edward (Patricia) Engle Jr. of Philo, Nancy (Jerry) Thomas of Zanesville and Michael James (Angie) Engle of Frazeysburg; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother Ben Havens of Ravenna and a special niece Sara (Rodney) Larimer.
In addition to his parents, Hiram is preceded in death by his step-mom Mary Cleona Engle; his son Timmy Engle; two infant twin daughters; his sister Mary Gill; a half-brothers Basil Engle Lawrence Havens and his grandson Hiram Edward Engle III.
Visitations will be held 4 to 6 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A caring cremation will follow the visitations.
