Hilda Mae French

Hilda Mae Spires French, 90, formerly of McConnelsville went home to be with the Lord and to her husband of 62 years at the Heartland of Fairfield Nursing Center near Lancaster, OH on Tuesday, Dec 3, 2013. Hilda was born April 21, 1923 in Gallia County, OH, the daughter of the late Lewis and Pansy (Walsh) Spires. She was a housewife and loving mother and wife and a former member of the McConnelsville Church of the Nazarene. Hilda is survived by her daughter Betty (Jim) Ross of Lancaster; her grandchildren Terry French, Tracy (Greg) Cale, Tammy (Steve) Huffman, Matt (Claudette) Ross, Amy (Justin) Burr and Krista Ross and her great-grandchildren Corey Cale, Sarah Stevenson, Michael (Amy) French, Ashley Huffman, Brittany Huffman, Darian Ross, Branson Ross, Camden Ross, Kendall Burr, Graycen Burr and Tiffany Blaz and one great-great grandson Brett French. In addition to her parents, Hilda is preceded in death by her husband Charles L. French who passed away Sept. 30, 2002; her son Charles "Wendell" French who passed away in February 1977 and her 18 siblings. Please make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
