Helen Louise Farrar

Helen L. Farrar, 86 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at the Enclave (Red Carpet) on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Helen was born on May 17, 1939 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She is the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mildred (Sparks) Green. Helen worked in the assembly line at March Electric. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cambridge. 

Helen is survived by her husband of many years, Paul R. Farrar, whom she married on April 25, 1970; her children, Teresa (Scott) Gum, Paul (Amy) Farrar, Ronald Farrar, and Kevin (Kelli) Farrar; her grandchildren, Josh Farrar, Scott (Chelsea) Farrar, Logan Farrar, Michael Farrar, Branden Gum, Jennifer Russ, and Shannon Mares; her cherished great-grandchildren, Trevor, Chelsea, Alyssa and Odin; her siblings, Don Green, David Green, and Jane Craig; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Green, Bill Green, Jim Green, and John Green; her sisters-in law Rosie Green, Caroline Green, Edith Green and Judy Green.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Enclave for the care and support, as well as Guernsey County Hospice.

A Celebration of Helen’s life will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 64164 Pigeon Gap Rd, Cambridge, OH 43725.
