Hazel F. Pendleton

Hazel F. Pendleton passed peacefully from this world on Monday, September 3, 2018. Born on July 6, 1924 in Middleport, Ohio, she was the daughter of Raymond & Alice Gaffney. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Shumaker, her brother, Luther Gaffney, brother-in-law Raymond Shumaker, and her husband, Harold (Hap) Pendleton. She is survived by her sons Thomas (Carol) Reed of Racine, Ohio, and Richard (Charlotte) Reed of Cottonwood, Arizona; grandchildren Sherri (Philip) Johnson, Theresa (Scotty) Logue, Matthew (Becky) Reed, Wesley (Erin) Reed, David Powell, and Michael (Sharon) Powell, and sister-in-law Barbara Gaffney. Hazel had 10 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Hazel will be held at a later date. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls has been entrusted with a caring cremation.
