Harvey R. Wickham Ii

Harvey R. Wickham II, 87 of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Summit Acres (Altercare of Caldwell).

Harvey was born October 7, 1936, in Chandlersville to the late Harvey and Esther Wickham. On July 31,1964 Harvey married the love of his life Nancy L. Roberts who preceded him in death on December 5, 2014. He retired from Central Ohio Coal Company, and was Jehovah’s Witness by faith. He enjoyed gardening and flowers. He also really liked playing cards and doing puzzles. He loved dogs and cats, and liked going on car rides, but most of all he loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He is survived by his children Harvey Wickham III, Susie (Bryan) Prater, and Brenda (Rudy) Rudolph; his eight grandchildren, Dale (Heather) Saling Jr., Roman Saling, Kayla Moffett, Sarah Lee, Susie (Andy) Mae, Dylon Burris, Devon (Jackie) Wickham, Alexis Wickham; three bonus grandchildren Heath (Tracie) Prater, Lacy (Jeremy) Downing, and Mackenzie (Reid) Love; his twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way; three bonus great-grandchildren; his brother Virgil Wickham; his brother-in-law Junior Hupp; his special nephew Roger Dale Sines; his special friends Dwight and Violet Carpenter; his special friend Eddie (Amy) Novak; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Nancy; his siblings, Bill Wickham, Marge Hupp, Helen Bickford, and Tom Wickham; and his sister in law Aldora Wickham.

A visitation will be held at Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and then from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 16 with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Harvey will be laid to rest by his wife, Nancy, in Cumberland Cemetery.
