Harold E. Moore

Harold E. Moore, 73 of Byesville, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Grant Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.

Harold was born on March 15, 1950 in Cambridge. He is the son of the late Millard and Eva Moore. Harold worked for the North American Coal Company, Oxford Tile Company, Jerry Neff Electrician, and for a short period of time contracted for the railways. Harold had a passion for automobiles. He worked in his own garage as a mechanic and painter for the people in Byesville community. Harold loved spending time with his family and friends and taking his dog/bestfriend, Gemma, for rides in his red Ford truck.

Harold is survived by his companion, Darla Bishard; his daughter, Janie Moore; his son, Kenneth Kiggins; his two granddaughters, Khloe and Kamryn; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his son, Steven Kiggins; his grandson, Kody Dingus; his sisters; Donna Morland and Faye Kovalchik; and his brother, Gary Moore.

A Celebration of Life for Harold will be announced at a later date.
