Harold B Hill

Harold B. Hill, 67 of New Concord, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours after losing his battle with cancer on January 17, 2021.

Harold was born on September 11, 1953 in Scotch Plains, NJ.  He is the son of the Harold C. Hill Jr of New Jersey and the late Charlotte (Casler) Furmanski.  He was employed by the Ohio Bridge Company for 40+ years.

In addition to his father, Harold is survived by his wife of 47 years, Robin L. Hill; his five sisters, Margret Metz,  Ella Hill Browne, Laure Hill Dotoli, Charlotte Villanueva and Brenda Miller; also his children, Bruce A. (Amber) Hill, Heather L. Hill, and Jennifer D. Hill; seven granddaughters, Melanie, Alli, Vera, Clarice, Ashleigh, Sadie and Kyla; one great grandson, Triton and one great granddaughter Azlynn.

Harold is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold C. Hill Sr. and Ella Hill; his beloved Ma, Mairlyn Hill; his mother, Charlotte Furmanski; and his two brothers, Glenn C. Hill and Dave Furmanski.

In keeping with Harold’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.  A celebration of Harold’s life will take place at a later date.  The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Hill family.
