Harold A. Barnes
February 8, 1931 — December 15, 2014
Harold A. Barnes, 83 of Chandlersville passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
Harold was born at the family home on February 8, 1931; he was the son of Lewis Earl and Ina (Baughman) Barnes. Harold retired from the Franklin Local School District where he taught school for several years, he was an area life time farmer and a 60 plus year member of the Carlwick Grange; he was a member of the Chandlersville Church of Christ and he served his country in the US Army.
Harold is survived by his brother Earl (Janet Bates) Barnes of Zanesville, his sister-in-law Donna Barnes, several nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brother Merl Barnes who passed away in 2013.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm, Friday with Pastor Wayne Andrik and Tim Berger officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
