Harold A. “Bunk” Pride, 56 of Philo, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2021 at the Morrison House while under the care of Genesis Hospice.
Bunk was born in Zanesville on June 18, 1964. He is the son of the late James and Shirley (Snedegar) Pride. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed doing crosswords puzzles drinking his ‘coldies’ and he loved to draw.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Ashley) Curry of Massachusetts; his granddaughter, Lyssa; his special bonus children, David Dunkle of Philo and Herbert (Crystal) Kronenbitter of Zanesville; his special companion, Betty Dunkle of Philo; his sisters, Margaret (Roger) Pride, Jenny (Mike) Pride, and Janie (Randy) Pride all of Zanesville; his brothers, Joe (Tammy) Pride of Zanesville and John (Lori) Pride of Middletown, Ohio; and several special bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bunk is preceded in death by his brother, James Pride and his sister, Shelly Pride and his bonus son, Billie Dunkle.
Visitations will be 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday with Pastor Moore officiating. He will laid to rest in the Stovertown Cemetery.
