Gus Alexander

Augustus "Gus" F. Alexander, 55 of Linden Avenue, Zanesville passed away at 10:30 pm, July 1, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center. Gus was born May 14, 1959 in Zanesville, the son of Gary & Linda (Randles) Alexander. He previously worked for the Longaberger Company as a weaver. Gus is survived by his two sons Todd Alexander (Jamie Pride) of Dresden and Kevin Alexander of Dresden; his daughter Wendy Alexander (Andy Shroyer) of Dresden; his brothers Randy Alexander, Gary Alexander and Jeff (Jenny) Alexander; his sister Marilyn (Jamie) Brookover of Dresden, 4 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gus is preceded in death by his brother Chuck Alexander. There will be a gathering of friends and celebration of life 1 pm Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Dresden American Legion. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is assisting the Alexander family.
