Gregg Chambers, 49, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Genesis Hospital.
Born on March 18, 1975, in Zanesville, Gregg was the son of Jean E. (Harkins) Chambers and the late D. Gail Chambers. He was the owner and operator of Gregg’s Motor Sales. Gregg had a love for basketball, often enjoying games at the fieldhouse, and a passion for caring for his animals. Above all, he cherished his time with family.
Gregg is survived by his wife of 16 years, Amber Chambers; his children, Kyle (Darzi) Ankrom, Abigail (Greg) Whitney, and Anastasia (Bradley) Whitney; his first grandchild due in December; his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Terry (Judy) Chambers, Loretha Chambers, Danny Collins, and Glenn Harkins. Gregg will also be dearly missed by his furry friends, Bear, Buster, Kitters, and Axell.
He is preceded in death by his father, D. Gail Chambers; his sister, Sherri Moore, who passed on March 3, 2022; an infant sister, Debra Jean Chambers; and a niece, Jenna Buchanan, who passed on August 25, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls. A funeral service will follow on Friday at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Steve Harrop.
