Gerald Anthony Zamensky

Gerald Anthony Zamensky passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23rd while in the care of the Beckett House; he was 74 years old.  He was born March 16th, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Christina Zamensky.  He enjoyed traveling, was a member of both the Moose and Elks, and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962.  He worked as an entrepreneur in several fields; owning many businesses including a Car Dealership, a Hotel, and Plastic Manufacturing Plant.

Gerald is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert.  He is survived by his wife, Gloria Zamensky, his daughter, Audrey (Jon) Zamensky Henderson and their children, Alexandria, Jon Jr., Michael, Brittany and Steven;  his daughter, Andrea Zamensky  and her son, Cyle Ellison;  his  son, Andrew Zamensky and his children, Angus and Adelaide;  and his son, Aaron (Melissa) Zamensky, and their children, Shelby, Riley, and Oakley.  He will be missed by his siblings, including his sister, Carol Bravatto, and his brothers, Jon (Linda) Zamensky, and Jim Zamensky; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Gerald’s wishes, services will be a private family gathering.  The family respectfully requests that no flowers, cards, or donations be conveyed on their behalf.  Please keep Gerald’s memory in your heart .  Farus Funeral Home of New Concord will be caring for Gerald and his family.
