Genevieve M. LePage, 88, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2021, at Genesis Hospital.

Genny was born in Oxford, MI, on December 16, 1932. She is the daughter of the late John Neil and Eva Barbara (Locke) Guest. She worked as an insurance agent for Williamson Baughman Insurance Company and she was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. She was a member of the New Concord United Methodist Church, the New Concord Grange and the Ohio Grange.

Genny is survived by her children, Barbara Grace (Michael) Balogh, Susan Lee Sleeper, Wanda Marie (Eugene) Yocum and Catherine June (Thomas) Haynes; her step-children, William (Helga) LePage, Charles (Kathy) LePage, Marjorie (Sam) Currey and Rebecca (William) Woods; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren; and her several nieces and nephews and her furry companion Charlie.

In addition to her parents, Genny is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Sleeper who passed away in 1972; her second husband, Miles E. LePage who passed away in 2008; her son, George Daniel Sleeper; and step-son, Larry LePage and her four brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will take place at 1 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the New Concord United Methodist Church, 20 East High Street, New Concord, Ohio 43762. Pastor Lisa Kropinak will officiate the service. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the LePage family.
