Gary Randall Bradley

Gary Randall Bradley, 86, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Gary was born on August 29, 1931.  He is the son of the late William A. and Marie S. (Udell) Bradley.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He graduated New Concord High School and then attended both Muskingum College and The Ohio State University.  He worked as a corrosion technician for the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company for over 37 years, and was lifetime area farmer. He served his country in the US Army as a rifle training specialist and radar technician.  He was former president of the Ohio Angus Association, owned and showed the Grand Champion Female at the 1961 Ohio Angus Association Show.  Gary was an outstanding athlete who played semi-pro fast pitch softball and was an avid golfer.  He was longtime member of the Cambridge Country Club.  Gary was a Past Master of the New Concord Masonic Lodge #688 and past Worthy Patron of Concordia Chapter of Ohio Eastern Star.  He was a founding member of the Muskingum University Round Ball Club.  He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Gary is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret L. (Moorehead) Bradley, whom he married July 6, 1952; his children, Randall L. (Amy) Bradley, Ginny (John) Barker; his two grandchildren, Sara M. (Dan) Bielek and Matthew R. (Emily) Bradley; his two great-grandchildren, Jones and Miller Bielek.

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his siblings, Lois Marsh, Jack Bradley and David Bradley.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 3 to 7 Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 N Liberty St, New Concord, OH.  Funeral Services will be held at the church at 11 am on Tuesday with Pastor Bryan Kittner officiating.  Gary will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
