Garnetta J. Warne

Garnetta J. Warne, 86 of Zanesville, passed away at 2:30 pm, Monday, December 3, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. Garnetta was born October 11, 1926 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia (Buckner) Moore. She was a Girl Scout Leader, she enjoyed attending lunches at the Sunrise Senior Center and she was a member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church. Garnetta is survived by her husband, John Warne whom she married August 1945, 2 daughters Elaine (Jerry) Shaffer of Zanesville and Sue (Donald) Bilski of Athens; 2 grandchildren Brian (Jennifer) Barker and Karen (Todd) Dunlap, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters and a sister Mary Mumper of FL. In addition to her parents Garnetta is preceded in death by her brothers Bill, Herbert, Ed and John Moore and her sisters Louise Baker, Nellie Clapper and Julia Puterbaugh and one great-great grandson. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday December 5th 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 10 am Thursday with Rev.
