Chandlersville

Garnett F. Frame, 91, of Chandlersville, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 22, 1933, in Muskingum County, Ohio, Garnett was the daughter of the late Curtis H. and Myrtle (Revennaugh) Wilson. She graduated from Philo High School in 1951 and worked for the Ohio Power Company until 1960. In 1995, she returned to work with Genesis Care Givers. Garnett was a lifelong member of Rural Dale United Methodist Church, where her strong faith in God was a cornerstone of her life. Known for her love of cooking and baking, she delighted in preparing meals for family and friends. Garnett and her husband Donnie worked together on their family farm, where her renowned pies, cookies, and potato salad were always a hit. She was a giving soul, and if you left her home hungry, it was your own fault.

Garnett is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann (Jeff) Dutro of Zanesville and Wanda (Jim) Wolfe of East Palestine; her grandchildren, Andrea (Matt) Easly, Matt Dutro, and Scott (Jennie) Wolfe; three great-grandsons, Joseph Easly, Jack Wolfe, and Bodie Wolfe; her sister-in-law, Zampa Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald M. Frame, whom she married on June 1, 1955, and who passed away on January 7, 2015. Garnett was also preceded in death by her siblings Howard (Marjorie) Wilson, Donald (Mary Lou) Wilson, and Robert Wilson; her sister-in-law Ada Frame; her brother-in-law Jerry (Carol) Frame; and nephews Charles Wilson, David Wilson, and Howard Wilson Jr.

The Frame family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Jennifer Dingey, Bill and Shawnna Bates, as well as the staff at Genesis Hospice Morrison House for their compassionate care and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the James Cancer Center, 460 W. 10th Street, Columbus, OH 43210; Genesis Hospice Morrison House, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701; or Rural Dale United Methodist Church, 9120 Rural Dale Road, Blue Rock, OH 43720.
