Galen J. Alexander

Galen J. Alexander, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his Blue Rock residence with his loving family by his side.
Galen was born in Zanesville on March 12, 1953. He is the son of the late Kenneth M. and Olive (Young) Alexander. He previously worked for AK Steel in Coshocton and as a manager for United Technologies in Zanesville. He loved his Family and his animals especially his dog Hammer. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, farming and hunting.
Galen is survived by his wife Tori Alexander, whom he married May 21, 1977; his daughter Elli (Ryan) Bartemes of Blue Rock and his sister Ina (Dan) Helsel of Blue Rock, a niece Debbie (Joseph) Culp and nephews Rick (Leshia) Alexander of Zanesville, ason (Saylor Kelly) Helsel of Philo, Jared (Amy) Helsel of Blue Rock and a very special friend Jim Drake of Rural Dale.
In addition to his parents, Galen is preceded in death by his grandparents Sameul J. and Grace (Ellis) Alexander and Harley and Mary Ellen (Achauer) Young and a brother Denzil G. Alexander and a great nephew Jared David Helsel.
Funeral Services have been held and burial taken place across from his home in the Union Hill Cemetery, Blue Rock.
