Fred E. Little, 75, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2021, while at his family farm.

Fred was born in Zanesville on June 26, 1946. He is the son of the late Raymond and Ava (Patton) Little. Fred retired from Longaberger after many years, but his true passion was horses. He raised and trained standard bred horses, and took pride in working on and taking care of the family farm. Fred was a proud member of United States Trotting Association, and he loved going trail riding, camping, cheering on his granddaughter’s basketball games, and spending time with his family. Fred proudly served his country during Vietnam in the United States Navy.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Christy L. (Keck) Little, who he married on November 20, 1971; his children, Misty (Rick) Harmon, Tom Manning, and Traci (Brad) Kelso; his grandchildren, Kayla (Skylar) Ishmael, Shayna (Trevor) Hemming; Ashley (Donavan) Skellett, Tiffany (Alex) Lopez, Avery Manning, Justin Robinson, Rylee (Austin) Evans; two special great-grandchildren, Jayden and Maleah Robinson; his great-grandchildren, Landon, Kaden, Aniston, Addilyn, Cohen, Ava, Rayna, and one on the way, Wahlen; special cousins, Georgia (George) Griffin and Mary Morrow.

In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his brother, Glen Little; and his infant sister, Rebecca Little.

In keeping with his wishes, private services will be held. He will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, American Legion Post #29, and the United States Navy Honor Guard. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Little family.
