Frank Wm. "Bill" Wion

Frank Wm. "Bill" Wion, 65, of Duncan Falls, went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, surrounded by his loving family from complications from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Born on February 8, 1959, in Zanesville, Bill was the son of the late Frank and Wanda Ruth (Drake) Wion. He worked for Essex Wire in Zanesville and was a member of the Blue Rock Baptist Church. Bill had a deep passion for automobiles and could identify the name and type of any car. He also loved singing, music, and drawing, and had a collection of matchbox cars and model horses.

Bill is survived by his brother, Robert (Rita) Wion; his sister, Connie (David) Schroder; beloved uncle to Mike (Megan) Wion, Robin (Scott) McKenzie, Michelle Schroder, Russel (Heather) Schroder, Rachel (Mike) Gomez, Bethany Ryder and Rebecca (Josh) Abatie; many great-nieces, great-nephews; a brother-in-law, Josh Ryder; as well as his uncle, Jack (Betty) Drake.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Sara Ryder.

A private graveside service for family will be held at a later date. Bill will be laid to rest at Blue Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
