Florence Mae Hartman

Florence Mae Hartman, 85, of Zanesville and formerly of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Florence was born in Philo on February 15, 1933.  She is the daughter of the late Patrick Norman Sr. and Evelyn (Byers) Norman.  She worked as a Bus Driver for Starlight School for over 19 years and she was a 65+ year member of the Duncan Falls Baptist Church.

Florence is survived by her two sons, Ralph (Cheryl) Hartman of Blue Rock and Randy (Maryann) Hartman of Zanesville; her seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and her three brothers, Frank Norman, Walter Norman and Patrick Norman Jr.

In addition to her parents, Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Pete” Hartman, who passed away in 2001; her three sons, Roger, Ronald and Rodney Hartman and her brother, Murl Norman.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Florence, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
