Faye T. Norman, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Born January 4, 1941, in Orma, West Virginia, daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Rogers) Groves. Faye was employed by Lear Corp. of Zanesville for twenty-two years, also worked for Adams Lane Care Center for twenty-five years. She enjoyed music, gardening, reading, attending Brush Creek Chapel before her illness, and also a special love of her dogs- the last one she owned being Chico.

Faye is survived by her sisters, Jean Marks of Philo, Thelma Groves of West Virginia, and Emma Lucas of Dresden; her brothers, Joe (Sharon) Groves of Ohio and Jim Groves of West Virginia; as well as countless nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her first husband, Chester C. Taylor, whom she married on August 8, 1960, and who passed away on October 17, 1987; her second husband, William “Bill” Norman, whom she married January 4, 1989, and who passed away on May 29, 2018; her sisters, Margie Nicholas, Jenny McCumbers, and her twin Mae Lambert; as well as her brothers, Clark Groves, Smith Groves, and infant brother Boone.

A private family service will be held and Faye will be reunited with Chester in Duncan Falls Cemetery. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Norman family.
