Everett Evans

Everett Thomas Evans Sr., 75 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2021 at his home in Zanesville.

Everett was born in Philo, Ohio on March 19, 1946.  He is the son of the late Charles E. and Josephine (Humphrey) Evans.  He worked in the oil fields as well as Hartstone Pottery.  He served his country in the US Navy, serving in Vietnam.

Everett is survived by his son, Everett Evans Jr.; his daughter, Peggy (Brian) Bonifield; his six grandchildren, Emily, Melissa, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Thomas and Izabelle; seven grandchildren, Nevaeh, Eli, Clara, Chayenne, Robert, Haylee, and Nathaniel Jr.; and his eight sister.

In addition to his parents, Everett is preceded in death by his wife, Clara B. Evans who passed away in 2001; his three brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service will take place at 12 noon, on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Chandlersville Cemetery with full military honors provided by the US Navy Color Guard, George Selsam VFW Post #1058 and the American Legion Post #29.
