Evelyn P. Lyons

Evelyn Pauline “Evie” Lyons, 61 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 5, 2021 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.

Evie was born in Cambridge on February 27, 1960.  She is the daughter of Mary Pauline Hupp and the late Arthur Franklin Hupp.  She was previously employed at the Hampton Inn.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking care of her flowers as well as fishing and camping.  She loved getting lunch with her daughters and she was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan; but most especially she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Evie is survived by her husband, Keith Lyons Jr. whom she married on September 18, 1988; her children, Ashlee (Doug) Goddard, Amber (Vince) Morrison, Kala (Jesse) Parrill, and Keisha (Dalton Weinstock) Lyons; her grandchildren, Finnegan, Essence, Falyn, Amy, Promise, and Anchor; her siblings, Teresa (Ted) Johnson, Mack Hupp, Kenny Hupp, Rose (Larry) Chandler, Tammy Fouch, Brenda (Steve) Wetz and Rob (Susie) Hupp; numerous nieces and nephews and her loyal companion Bella.

In addition to her father, Evie is preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Milligan and her niece, Amy “Toot” Kondus.

Visitations will be 4 to 7 pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday.  Her nephew, Andy Hooks will officiate the service.  She will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery in Roseville.
