Eva Florence Mullins

Eva F. Mullins passed away on Friday, August 19th while in the care of the Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville; she was 89 years old.  She was born on July 30th, 1927 in Summerfield, Ohio to Leo and Helen (Wehr) Clark.  She graduated from New Concord High School in 1944, and retired from General Electric after years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed shopping, sewing, and babysitting; she was a member of the Church of Christ in New Concord.

Eva is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Wanda Morris.  She is survived by her son, Robert Joseph (Marcia) Buchanan, son, Thomas Reed (Cyndi) Buchanan, and her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bennett.  She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren including, Joey Buchanan, Thomas Wayne (Gwen) Buchanan, Shawn (Renae) Buchanan, Allen Bennett, Brian (Jennifer) Bennett, and Jamie (Matthew) Archer, as well as her 7 great-grandchildren Briana, Garrett, Nathan, Carson, Riley, Marlee, and Miles.  She also leaves to mourn a brother, Ronald (Jean) Clark, and a sister, Edith (Bob) Hardy.

Friends and Family are welcome to attend calling hours for Eva at the Farus Funeral home in New Concord on Tuesday, August 23rd from 4 to 7PM.  Services will be held the following day, starting promptly at 11AM.  Burial will follow at the Zanesville Memorial Park, and Dick Harris will be officiating services.
