Emma Jean Miller

Emma “Jean” Miller, 88 of Philo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville.

Jean was born in Jackson Co, WV where she lived most of her life.  She is the daughter of the late Darrell W. and Addie E. Starcher.  She retired after 29 years working as a cook for Jackson General Hospital in Jackson WV and she was a lifetime member of the Ripley WV VFW Post # 5501.

Jean is survived by her two great-granddaughters, Mindy and Beverly and her several brothers and sisters.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her two children, Curtin Lee Casto and Dorsel Casto; her grandson, Joey Casto; her infant great-grandson Riley Casto and her brothers and sisters.
