Elsie Coles

M. Coles, 84, of Zanesville, passed away at 10 am on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Elsie was born July 8, 1931 in Morgan County to the late Willis and Flossie (Dalton) Goins. She was a nurse’s aid at Bethesda Hospital for several years. Elsie was a member of the Cannelville United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband Robert Coles, whom she married October 18, 1951. A daughter Mary Coles of Zanesville and a son Anthony (Michelle) Coles of Napersville, Ill. Four Grandchildren: Camelyn Vanoster, Jessie Coles, Jayden Coles, and Landon Coles. Three Great Grandchildren: Sadie Coles, Cheyenne Vanoster, and Olivia Ickes. Her brothers are Charles (Jessie) Goins of Zanesville and Willis Goins Jr of Roseville. Her sisters are Irene Flowers of Athens and Helen Holbert of Columbus, Bessie (Leonard) Hill of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sisters Jessie Goins & Edna Fagain and brothers Albert Goins and Danzel Goins.
Graveside services will be 11 am Tuesday with Rev Mary Beth Snyder officiating in Duncan Falls Cemetery. Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is in charge of arrangements.
