Eileen Georgia (Sarac) Beldean, age 94, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026. Born on November 30, 1931, in Akron, Ohio. Eileen lived a rich, vibrant life defined by hard work, deep devotion to her family, and an adventurous spirit.

Eileen was the cherished daughter of George Sarac, a rubberworker, and Theresa Franck, both immigrants from Austria who instilled in her a strong work ethic and deep-rooted resilience. She grew up alongside her loving siblings, Lillian, Ruth, Marge, and George, sharing a childhood filled with close family ties that she carried with her throughout her life. A proud product of her community, she graduated from Kenmore High School.

On December 10, 1954, Eileen married the love of her life, Eugene Beldean. Together they shared a wonderful life, hand in hand, building homes through the years in Stow, Akron, and Pleasant City, Ohio.

Eileen was a remarkably capable woman whose hands were never idle. Professionally, she worked at Acme Grocery Store, Don Harvey Realty, and with Gene, successfully ran their own small business as the owners of Beldean's Bargain Outlet. All the while breeding and training National Champion AKC Basset Hounds.

Beyond her work, Eileen had a tremendous zest for life. She loved having her family close by, and her home was always filled with warmth. An avid outdoorswoman and animal lover, she found joy in hunting, fishing, and a special love for her beloved Basset Hounds. She and Eugene loved exploring the open road, traveling all across the country in their RV. Closer to home, she was a dedicated and passionate Cleveland Browns fan and could always be found with her signature chocolate-covered cherries close at hand.

Eileen’s legacy of love lives on through her family. She is survived by her children, Daughter, Maria and Son, Gene (Ellen); her grandchildren, Shannon (Joe) Beldean-Curtin, Brandi (Troy) Mcculley, Tony Beldean, Jennifer (Timothy) Parry, Theresa Kuczmarski, Seth Beldean and Olivia Beldean; as well as her numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the team of caregivers from Hospice of Guernsey County; Chanell, Adam, Heidi and Heather. A private service will be held at Farus Funeral Home in New Concord, Ohio.
