Edward Glen Currey passed away in his home, while in the loving presence of his family; he was 64 years old. He was born in Massalin, Ohio on December 28th, 1951 to Thaddeus and Florence (Nay) Currey. Ed worked as a truck driver, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and simply spending time in the outdoors.
He is predeceased by his parents, His father and mother-in-law, Paul Bailey and Lena Warne, his brother Sam, and sister, Pansy, and his cherished companion, Sassy. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Pauline (Bailey) Currey, his step-children, Eric Bailey, Chastity (Kris) Spires, and Christopher Hill. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Anthony Santostasi, J.T. Moore, and J.J. Moore, his sister-in-law, Marge Currey, and his good friends and hunting buddies, Randy Shivers, Jack Arena, and Ronald “Wimp” Quillen, as well as his friends and former co-workers. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Ed. Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the family.
