Edward Lee Blair

Edward 'ED' Lee Blair, 62, of Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, passed away at 7:20 pm, Monday, May 26, 2014 at Genesis Medical Center. Ed was born in Washington County, OH the son of Loretta (Jenkins) Blair of Marietta and the late Daniel Blair. He worked for numerous companies as a timber cutter and he proudly served his country In the US Army. Ed is survived by his wife of 31 years, Margaret 'Rose' Blair, whom he married July 30, 1983; his step son, Bug Dunkle of Zanesville; his step daughters, Karen (Richard McConiha) Dunkle, Tammy Dunkle and Shannon Dunkle all of Zanesville; his brothers, Ronnie (Sonya) Blair, Robert (Sue) Blair, Jim Blair, Dave Blair, Daniel Blair Jr. and Wesley (Devin) Blair; and his two sisters, Linda (Arlan) Kohn and Norma Blair; his two brothers Chuck (Mary) Blair and Larry (Sherry) Blair; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to his father, Ed is preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Blair and Glenna Blair. Visitations will be 11 am to 1 pm, Friday May 30, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1058 and the US Army Color Guard. www.farusfh.com
