Edith M. Hardy, 84, of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family at Genesis Hospital. Edith was born in Noble County on May 27, 1937. She is the daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Wehr) Clark. Edith was a member of the Church of Christ in Chandlersville, and she was an avid bowler in the league at Sunrise Bowling. She loved to spend time tending to her flowers, and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Edith is survived by her loving husband, Robert H. Hardy, who she married August 14, 1952; her son, Jay (Roxanne) Hardy; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hardy, Bryan Hardy, Stephanie Gardner, Brittany Bashart, and Dylan Hardy; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Gardner, Cody Gardner, Kaden Gardner, and Amelia Bashart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Terry (Brandy) Hardy, who passed on December 14, 2020; and her siblings, Eva Mullins, Ronald Clark, and Wanda Morris. Visitations will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, 63 W. Main Street, New Concord, Ohio, 43762, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitations at 1 pm. Terry Townsend will officiate the service. Edith will be laid to rest in Salt Creek Cemetery. www.farusfh.com
