Doyle Faye Howell

Doyle Faye (Ellis) Howell, 92, a lifelong resident of Cumberland passed away 4:20 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Summit Acres Care Center. Doyle was born December 2, 1920 in Cumberland, the daughter of the late Harry and Erma (Morgan) Ellis. She was a 70 year member of the Cambridge Chapter of OES and a very active member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Cumberland. Doyle is survived by her son David & Mary Howell of Westerville; two daughters Janet & Jim Roberts and Darla & Pat Craig both of Cumberland; her six grandchildren Mark (Marsha) Roberts, Michelle (Jeff) Harmon, Melissa (Todd) Jones, David Howell Jr, Travis and (finance Lauren Garland) Craig, Melinda (Michael) Smith. 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson Caiden J Roberts. A neice Patti Khune In addition to her parents, Doyle is preceded in death by her husband Raymond M. Howell who passed away July 11, 1998 and her sister Neva Conn, and a granddaughter Megan Neal who just passed away August 3, 2013. Visitations will be 2 to 3 pm Monday at the Farus Funeral Home, Cumberland. The funeral will be at 3 pm on Monday with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating, She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Cumberland Cemetery.
