Douglas Joe “Duck” Wagner, 37 of Byesville, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Monday, October 21, 2024.
Doug was born in Thomaston, GA. on July 23, 1987. He is the son of Mike and Kathy (Reynolds) Wagner of Chandlersville. He was a 2006 graduate of John Glenn High School and attended Northwestern University. He was a member of Rix Mills Presbyterian Church; he worked as a truck driver for the Kimble Company. Doug enjoyed Blue Grass music, spending time in the outdoors, especially fishing with his kids and he could be easily bribed with meatloaf.
In addition to his parents, Doug is survived by wife, Billie (Bobb) Wagner; whom he married September 20, 2014; his children, Eric Wagner, Randall Wagner, Neil Wagner and a step-daughter, Alyssa Bell; his brother and best friend, Randy Wagner; maternal grandparents, George and Marcia Reynolds; and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
Doug is preceded in death by his brother, Michael W. Wagner who passed away March 8, 2019; his paternal grandmother, Donna (Wickham) Rowland; a special uncle, Dwight Reynolds and paternal grandfather, Joe Wagner.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday. Pastor Jill Warner will officiate the service. Doug will be laid to rest in Salt Creek Cemetery.
