Douglas Craig Callihan

Douglas Craig Callihan passed away on Friday, June 19th while in the care of the James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer, he was 47 years old.  He was born on June 20th, 1968 in Cambridge, Ohio to David and Donna Callihan.  Dough graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 1986, and became a member of the Plumber and Pipefitters local 495.  He was employed by AEP for the last 8 years.  He was proud to be a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was a car enthusiast; who enjoyed working on and restoring his 198 corvette with the help of his friends, and his son, Matthew.  He also took great pride watching his son, Levi, play basketball, and his loving daughter, Kaylie, run cross Country and track over the years.

He is preceded in death by his father, David V. Callihan.  Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Karla (Calvert) Callihan, his children, Matthew, Levi, and Kaylie Callihan, his mother, Donna Callihan, his brother, David Callihan, and his many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Friends and Family may attend calling hours on Monday, June 22nd from 5 to 8PM, and then on Tuesday at 10AM at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.  Services will be held on Tuesday the 23rd at 11am, burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville.  Father Paul Hrezo will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Melanoma Research Fund at Century National Bank.
