Donna Jean Myers, age 103, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born on July 6, 1923 to the late Harry E. and Ora F. (Dingey) Dickson.

Jean worked for General Electric for over 40 years and was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. Jean loved to cook for family, friends, and neighbors and often made pies for the church and fair. She also enjoyed gardening and quilting, more than anything, Jean adored spending time with her family.

Jean is survived by her 3 children, Connie Ridenour, Victor (Beverly) Myers, and Cheryl (Larry) Lentz. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as many friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband Dorence Myers; brothers, Cecil Dickson and Elton “Jiggs” Dickson; sister, Anna Dickson; niece, Lou Six; granddaughter, Lisa Myers; great grandson, Jacob Ray; and great great granddaughter, Zaylee Myers. 

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls. Family will greet friends for 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Jean will be laid to rest at Duncan Falls Cemetery following the service.
