Donna J. Fortney, 74 of Zanesville, passed away on Oct. 18, 2016, while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.
Donna was born in Logan, OH to the late Maxwell and Edith Prater. She previously worked for Nationwide and Grange insurance Companies and she was a faithful member of the Shelter House Assembly of God Church in Gaysport.
Donna is survived by her husband Robert Fortney, her four children Robert Fortney Jr, Rebecca Getter, David (Tara) Fortney and Margaret Angler; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her sister Janice Prater and her furry companion Gypsy.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Prater.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating. She will be laid to rest in Allen Cemetery in Blue Rock.
