Donna J. Durst

Donna J. Durst, 85 of Philo, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 13, 2016 at her residence.
Donna was born on November 26, 1930 in Duncan Falls. She is the daughter of the late Forrest and Clarice (Trout) Hartman. She was a member of PERI and she previously worked for Essex Wire on Ceramic Avenue and she worked at Polly’s Restaurant in Duncan Falls for 24 years.
Donna is survived by her daughter Polly Lutz of Philo; her grandson Matt and Sandy Lutz also of Philo and her two great-grandchildren Abby and Trey Lutz. She is also survived by her siblings Sonny (Jean) Hartman, Carl (Sue) Hartman, Dan (Phyllis) Hartman, Wayne (Gladys) Hartman, Freda Woodward, Beulah Hague, Wava Shuster, Mary Lou Coen, Pearl “Bib” (Emmet) Frazier and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband James Durst, who passed away November 7, 2004; her son-in-law Michael J. Lutz who passed away July 12, 1994 and her sister Ruth Grable.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 11am Thursday with Rev. Mike Foster officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
