Donna C. Drushal

Donna C. Drushal, 91 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Beckett House.

Donna was born on January 11, 1933, in New Straitsville, Ohio to the late Wesley and Bernice (Sines) Smith. Donna married Wilbur H. Drushal on July 25, 1953, and worked for the Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District. She really loved and cherished her church, Lighthouse Baptist Church. She loved her family, and loved to read, go out to eat, and go on family vacations. Donna was a former member of the Sweet Adelines, and was an incredibly strong and loving woman.

She is survived by her children Debora (Russell) Palmer, Michael (Esther) Drushal, Patricia (Jonathan) Hudson, Jeffrey (Florence) Drushal; her twelve grandchildren Matt (Amanda) Palmer, Brian (Sarah) Palmer, Cory (Melissa) Palmer, Jared (Ariel) Palmer, Amy (Solomon) Lane, Stacy (Dan Savage) Drushal, Tara Reis, Cassie (Zachary) Hugebeck, Kelly (Seth) Burdette, Jennifer Drushal, Jeremy Drushal, and Justin (Eleanor) Drushal; her twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild with three more on the way; special friends Ron and Jean Hinebaugh, her nieces that cared for her Alice, Terri, and Nancy; her brother in law Bob (Irene) Drushal; sisters in law Shirley Drushal and Betty (Bill) Wedincamp; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur H. Drushal who passed away September 25, 1965; her siblings Janice (Jenny) Salzgaber and Donald E. Smith; her daughter in law Teresa Drushal; her brother in law Don Drushal and Tom (Judy) Revennaugh, Orville (Joan) Shaffer; and her son in law Kenneth Ables; her mother and father in law Inez and Frank Drushal;

A visitation will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 136 Rix Mills Road, New Concord OH 43762 from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, April 15, 2024, and also from 11 am - 12 pm on Tuesday, April 16. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm with Pastor Kurt Winsley officiating. Donna will be laid to rest in Chandlersville Cemetery.
